My path to career coaching was fueled by a passion to simplify the complex world of job searching. With a 25+ year background that spans from recruiting for early start-ups in San Francisco to leading Kelly Services’ finance and accounting staffing strategy for the Americas, I’ve navigated the ever-changing landscape of recruiting, workforce solutions, and, most importantly, career fulfillment. From booms to a Great Recession and a pandemic, I’ve seen it all and helped hundreds of clients into new roles.
Today, I’m keenly focused on helping my clients navigate the shifting dynamics of the hiring landscape post the rise of AI and into the future of work.
Why I Started KDB Coaching: The turning point came when I realized the systemic flaws in the hiring process—broken ATS technology, lack of communication between HR and talent acquisition, and the overwhelming hurdles faced by job seekers. It was clear that if an insider like me found it challenging, those on the outside needed a trusted ally. That’s when KDB Coaching was born: to demystify the hiring cycle and teach job seekers, career changers, and layoff survivors the insider tactics for a swift and successful job search.
