There is more to your job search campaign than applying online.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\nNetworking Based Job Search Methods<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n- Network vigorously. <\/strong>While many changes have occurred in the workforce, networking remains essential. Your personal contacts usually provide your most promising leads and have always been a top job search strategy.<\/em><\/strong> Reach out to your old college classmates and former coworkers. Attend meetings of the local chapter of your professional association. This means that your LinkedIn profile has to be up to date and targeted for the role you are seeking as well as brushing up on your phone and email networking skills.
<\/li>- Do volunteer work. <\/strong>Community service is a great way to make new contacts and enhance your skills. Find a cause you care about and propose a project that you\u2019re excited about working on.<\/em><\/strong> Many of my clients who had pandemic downtime have found job leads through their volunteer experiences and new networks.
